SYNOPSIS: This talk is geared to those students who already have a general understanding of the 7 synonymous terms for God and their specific ideas. Through an understanding of the dimensional translatability of God, we discover that the power of an individual idea is the power of the infinite One itself. Each synonym is shown to symbolize a different divine law when viewed from the standpoint of the 4-fold operation of God (Word, Christ, Chrisitianity, and Science) and the 4 levels of Science (Science itself, divine Science, absolute Christian Science, and Christian Science).
CONTENTS:
Our starting point is the infinite one Being, God, which includes all that is of its harmonious nature
- How do we experience this harmony?
Mary Baker Eddy’s discovery of the 7 synonymous terms as the definition of God (S&H 465:8)
God/Man = Principle and idea
- "Principle and its idea is one, and this one is God's omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Being" (S&H 465:17)
The Science of Being demands a consciousness that is one with the 7 synonymous terms for God and their 4-fold operation on the 4 levels of Science
- The 4 levels of Science explained from the standpoint of the 4-fold operation of God and the 7 synonymous terms for God
- The 7 synonyms on the 4-levels of Science
- Without the structure-grid of the 7+4+4, Science and Health cannot be understood
Each synonym fulfills a different office when viewed from:
- The standpoint of (4) Word, Christ, Christianity, Science and from the standpoint of the 4 levels:
1) Science itself
2) divine Science
3) absolute Christian Science
4) Christian Science
